Today, FuturED and all the team members would like to congratulate our research intern from Panama, Ms. Yamileth Lima. She is a student at the Technological University of Panama and was selected with two other students to do a research internship in SENA, Colombia.

SENA (or “National Training Service’) is a Colombian public institution that aims to develop professional training programs for the domestic workforce in order to increase the competitiveness of Colombian companies.

The UN Sustainable Development Goal 14, Life below water aims to conserve oceans and
seas. They are trying to implement international law and develop activities to safeguard marine
and coastal ecosystems, as well as prevent and reduce marine pollution.

Even if we don’t live close to the sea, we all contribute to the degradation of life below water:

The Baroness Hooper, CMG, DSG, FRSA, FRGS is a renowned British lawyer and a life peer in the House of Lords in the United Kingdom.
