UN General Assembly marks 80 years with High-Level Week dedicated to peace, development and human rights

New York, September 2025 – The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is commemorating its 80th session under the theme “Better Together: 80 Years and Beyond for Peace, Development and Human Rights”. High-Level Week brings together Heads of State, institutional representatives and global leaders to renew their commitment to multilateralism and to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
