La Plata, 10 November 2022 – On the 2nd of November FuturED has participated in the 1st SDG Awareness and Training Day that took place at the National Technological University, Regional Faculty – La Plata (UTN-FRLP).
The activity was led by the Local SDG Coordination Table, a new working team under the Secretariat of the Board of Trustees and Institutional Relations of the Regional Faculty that will have the task of implementing the “Programme for Sustainable Development UTN 2030”.
The meeting aimed to raise awareness of the 17 Goals that the United Nations (UN) approved as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and what are the concrete actions that the Regional Faculty is carrying out to this end. It also aims to raise awareness about the need for all sectors of society to get involved and become factors of change in order to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda regarding environmental integrity, economic viability and just societies.
Energy efficiency, renewable energy, responsible use of water, waste separation and responsible use of paper are the five institutional plans that were presented at the first Day of Awareness and Training in Sustainable Development Goals SDGs of the UTN Regional Faculty – La Plata.
