Londres, 24 September 2024 - It is with great emotion that we announce a new strategic partnership between FuturED and Big Rig Rugby. This agreement reinforces our commitment to sustainable development and social inclusion through sport.
Ex-professional player Stuart Corsar formed Big Rig Rugby to help local rugby clubs develop rugby in their communities and has pioneered promoting rugby as a tool for cohesion and personal development. Since its foundation, Big Rig Rugby has distinguished itself by opening its doors to players of all levels, focusing on competitive and recreational rugby. The aim is clear: to foster camaraderie, mutual respect and growth on and off the field. In addition to its outstanding sporting activity, Big Rig Rugby has been actively involved in the community by organising social events and training programmes for young people, promoting the values of rugby and its positive impact on society.
FuturED is an innovative international educational organisation with roots in Monaco and strong development in the UK. Its multilingual educational platform - available in English and Spanish - has been created to accelerate the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In less than two years, FuturED has revolutionised education with more than 150 courses and masterclasses, supporting more than 50 universities, organisations, businesses and governments in 20 countries.
This partnership between Big Rig Rugby and FuturED has the primary mission of raising awareness of the UN SDGs, promoting equity in access to education and supporting various entities in achieving their sustainability and social impact goals. Together, we are embarking on a global project that seeks not only to strengthen local communities but also to contribute to the well-being and sustainable future of our planet.
