The learning outcomes of these masterclasses will be based on the cardiovascular system, including the structure of the heart.
Adam Ali will talk about the chambers of the heart and the valves that are present in the heart, as well as the blood supply to the heart. He will also mention the veins, capillary arteries and their different properties. It will explain the terms deoxygenated and oxygenated, the electrical pathways of the heart, the cardiac cycle, factors affecting cardiac output and the regulation of the systolic system.
